Referrals

For our clients to get the full benefit from our services, including free delivery (not incl Westminster) they need to get a letter of referral from one of the statutory or voluntary agencies which work in partnership with.

Part of the reason for this is that we want to ensure that the people who obtain low cost furniture from us are those individuals who really need it, and cannot afford to buy such furniture at new prices. While showing proof of benefits or low income is one way of doing this, a referral form with clients’ details shows that their need is genuine.

We aim to work with a many partner agencies as we can, to ensure that all sections of the community can access our services. We accept referrals from:

  • housing departments
  • housing associations
  • homeless organisations
  • social services
  • rehabilitation centres
  • asylum seeker units
  • mental health units
  • community groups
